The Go Greener fair was a day-long event aimed at educating and inspiring citizens to address environmental concerns. There were over 1000 attendees with dozens of exhibits by local green nonprofits, sustainable businesses and exhibits.
Activities included:
An Eco-Fair with various environmental groups present
A "Recycle Relay" and organic tea party
A contest for homegrown vegetables, with categories like "biggest, smallest, most crooked, tallest and most unusual"
The event featured a headlining performance by the Boston-based band The Click Five, with other supporting acts including Kicking Daisies, Young and Divine, and White Rose.
The event was co-hosted by the Arch Street teen center and Go Greener Greenwich.
